My Idols
Many people have some idols that they inspired to be. And so do I. This time, I am going to tell you about my Idols:
1. George Harrison
George Harrison was an English musician, singer, songwriter, and member of the iconic band, The Beatles. He was born on February 25, 1943, in Liverpool, England. Harrison played a significant role in shaping the band's sound, contributing both musically and creatively to their success.
Known as the "Quiet Beatle," George was not only a talented guitarist but also a prolific songwriter. He penned several classic Beatles songs, including "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Something," and "Here Comes the Sun." His songwriting style reflected his deep spirituality, introspection, and interest in Indian philosophy and culture.
Despite his immense talent, Harrison remained humble and down-to-earth, earning the respect and admiration of fans worldwide. His contribution to music and culture has left an enduring legacy that continues to inspire musicians and fans alike.
2. Emma Watson
Emma Watson, born on April 15, 1990, in Paris, France, is a British actress and activist. She gained worldwide fame for her portrayal of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, which she began filming at the age of eleven.
Watson's performance in the Harry Potter series earned her critical acclaim and established her as a talented actress. After the conclusion of the film series, she diversified her roles by appearing in various films such as "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "The Bling Ring," and "Beauty and the Beast," in which she played the lead role of Belle.
Beyond her acting career, Emma Watson is known for her advocacy work. She is a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and a strong advocate for gender equality and women's rights. In 2014, she launched the HeForShe campaign, encouraging men to support gender equality. Her efforts in this area have earned her respect and recognition beyond her acting achievements.
